Cerebra Host October Charity Raceday at Ffos Las
Ffos Las Racecourse is proud to be working with children’s charity Cerebra for its annual Charity Raceday on Saturday 17th October.
Based in Carmarthen, Cerebra is a charity giving families that include children with brain conditions the chance to find a better life together. Being a family is about discovering life together. That’s no different for families of a child with a brain condition – except that there are more challenges to overcome along the way. Cerebra believes that the best way to overcome them is by joining families on that journey – at every step. For more information on Cerebra and the work that they do please visit www.cerebra.org.uk
Cerebra has arranged a number of fundraising activities for the day including children’s inflatables, silent auction, raffle and a bucket collection.
“We are delighted to be working with Cerebra for our annual Charity Raceday. We are hoping that between us we can raise a lot of money to support local children. £2 for every race ticket sold will be going to Cerebra so we hope we’ll have a great turn out to support this amazing charity,” said Dave Clayton, Commercial Director.
“We are thrilled to be hosting a Charity Raceday at Ffos Las - it will be a fantastic opportunity for us to raise Cerebra’s profile in our local community. Thanks to the generosity of the people who support us we can help families that include children with brain conditions to find a better life together”. Sian Morgan, Head of PR & Fundraising at Cerebra.
Gates open at 12.10 and the first race is at 2.10.
